Lintserskoe cookies - traditional Christmas treat a native of Austria, is a sandwich of two halves of the same shape cookie, which sandwiched jam. This cookie is not only distinguished by its amazingly delicate taste, but also by its versatility: jam can be changed to your taste - raspberry, blackcurrant, apricot.

Cold butter, cut into cubes. Add icing sugar, flour, ground nuts, yolk, vanilla sugar and a pinch of salt. Mix everything well. Knead smooth dough. The dough should be soft and elastic, but not sticky. If the dough crumbles, you can add 10 ml to it. (no more) cold water and knead again. Form a ball, wrap it in adhesive film and refrigerate for 30-40 minutes.

Roll out the dough on a floured table. The dough may stick a little, this is normal, but it is better to sprinkle with flour than to add to the dough. Do not roll the dough very thinly. Using molds cut slices. In half of the workpieces, cut a hole in the center with a molds. Preheat the oven to 190C and bake for about 12 minutes, the edges should be browned.

Cool the finished cookies on a wire rack, grease with jam and glue in pairs. Sprinkle with Icing sugar.
